This Green Protein Power Breakfast Smoothie is great if you are rushed in the morning or struggle to eat breakfast, It will energise you and keep you going for the morning and you great for when you are on the go.

The mix of natural sugars, vitamins, and minerals from the banana + mango + spinach combo really help to perk you up while the healthy fats and protein from the pumpkin seeds to keep you feeling satiated.

Makes 1 large smoothie (500ml)

Ingredients

1 cup (250 ml) unsweetened almond milk or for a nut free option, substitute the almond milk with a certified nut free oat milk, rice milk, hemp milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.
1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
1/2 cup chopped mango again fresh or frozen works well
1-2 large handfuls of baby spinach
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

optional: 1/2 scoop (approx. 30ml) vanilla protein powder + 1/4 cup (60ml) water

Directions

In a blender layer the spinach, banana, mango and pumpkin seeds. Add the almond milk and blend until smooth.
